Update: the seller has sent a replacement strainer, even though I was beyond the warranty period. Thanks for your customer service?Original review: The nut (for lack of better term) that the strainer screws into either pulled out or the retainer fell off and went down the drain. (No, it’s not in the P-trap.)You’d think that ACE - being the place - would have a locknut that would fit, but alas, neither metric nor SAE, nor fine or coarse or FIP would fit.So now it’s trash and will have to be removed and replaced. With no contact info for the manufacturer, there is no way to request a replacement part.There are many ways this could have been prevented or remedied, but the landfill seems to be the only option.

We needed new stoppers, so I finally ordered this set and they do work great, The water flows thru easier than the ones I had before for the sink, they look good and easy to use with just a couple turns, holds the water well and easy.

I really like the style and the screw-in basket. I would take off half of a star, though, because it says it "Includes all parts needed for full drain installation." This might be true if it's installed in a stainless steel sink, but I installed it in a plastic sink. I wasn't real confident that the top gasket was going to give a good seal, but I went ahead with it anyway. Sure enough, after I got everything installed and securely tightened, when I filled the sink with a little water, there was a leak. So, I had to disassemble everything and I got rid of the top gasket and used some plumber's putty instead. That worked perfectly, and no more leaks. In the end, all is well, but it would have been nice if they would have just let me know ahead of time that some applications might require using plumber's putty to get a proper seal.

Souvent les bouchons pour éviers sont noirs grisâtres. Ce n'est pas le cas, avec celui-ci. Et la fermeture du débit d'eau est discrète et facile a utiliser.

La meilleure crépine que j'ai eu, bonne qualité, belle apparence. Elle retient l'eau lorsque fermer et laisse bien écouler lorsque ouverte. Et lorsque ouverte elle reste bien en place dans sont logement grâce à la visse et ne se referme pas accidentellement.

These are great. Very good quality. Easy to install. Stops any larger bits from going down the drain. That should mean Less plugging of pipes
