Very light and comfortable footware for Tai Chi and Kung fu practice. I needed a pair of the corded sole for indoor Tai Chi demonstration. I found that the rubber and plastic soles, of the same type of shoes, gave too much and too little grip, respectively. However, the corded sole was the perfect footware for indoor practice/demo. This is quite evident, especially on tile floors; where it tends to get somewhat slippery with the plastic sole. These corded sole types have become increasingly difficult, if not impossible to find, nowadays, in the stores of Toronto. So, I am glad to be able to find it on Amazon.ca. Good shoes at a reasonable price. I am happy with my purchase.
