Recommended Use:
-2 prong is used for punching holes in curves or short distances.
-4 prong is a commonly used specification for shorter straight lines, used for straight line drilling.
-6 prong is often used for cutting for a long time and is the most used specification.

These leather punches are really a well made product. I take old baseball gloves and make them into wallets and keychains so I use these pretty frequently. They have never let me down and they are sharp and punch holes through any of the leather that I have come across. I really like how even though I am hammering on them the hole punch has held up really well and continue to punch holes in the leather. This is a great value for the money!!

I used my first set of these irons until they were nearly worn out. Good irons, do wish they had a little longer handle but am not much troubled the way they are.

I've used other cheaper stitching irons, and they eventually broke. Been using this for a bit, and it makes clean holes with no issues. And the 5mm spacing is perfect for the patterns I use. Inexpensive and worth the money.Update Jul 24: I bought these in 2021. I believe I ended up throwing away the four hole punch as the tip kept falling out. Still, I have the other ones. Not the best quality, but you get what you pay for. I'm contemplating whether to rebuy these. Great for new leathercrafters.Dropping from five stars to four.
