I purchased these to take apart a Jeep transfer case. They worked flawlessly to remove the lock rings. The ends of lock rings fit in the pliers holes and really helped to keep the ring under control. The issue I see is that from doing 6 lock rings you can see the wear in the picture, they may not last for heavy use. I am very happy with my purchase for the price and considering I will use them infrequently. In summary for occasional use or dedicated project these are fantastic, saved me so much grief and time.
