Purchased for installation on a 2004 Ram 1500 4.7L engine... (this gasket is from earlier model years) the 2004 & up model years expect you to somehow adhere the water connection seals to the front of the engine block with silicone, (there are no recess' or grooves for the seals to fit into... while fighting gravity) then put an additional perimeter bead of silicone to secure the timing cover.This EARLIER model year cover gasket works perfectly, as the water connection seals are built into it...no need for silicone!

Worked perfect! It was a bit off center but it is flexible as all gaskets made this way are. I will buy it again for future repairs!
