I am using these to connect trailer chains to my vehicle's hitch. I've been towing with these links and had no issues with corrosion yet. It is the middle of winter with all the salt and snow getting into the chains, these have yet to show rust or corrosion. The threaded nuts still spin smoothly.I also used these links on the trailer tie downs. I made a few trips and these have held the load just fine.Overall, I think these are good links and I don't see any issues with them.

These locking carabiners are made in the oval chain-link style rather than the usual D-ring of a true carabiner, but that's because they serve a different purpose: connecting things semi-permanently. They're suitable for attaching trailer chains (note the weight limits), ropes, cords, etc. I'm very happy with the quality; each one is made from a single piece of stainless steel, with the threaded end and gate attached at the ends. There are no ridges, gouges, or sharp points from the construction process, and the hex-screw gate rotates smoothly onto the threads at the other end with no fuss. They should also be rust-resistant since they're made from stainless steel (and I will update this review if I notice any corrosion).For ~$25 CAD at time of review, they work out to $2.50 each, which is cheaper than purchasing them individually at a hardware store, but may be more expensive than buying small packs of galvanized links for the same price, so check pricing in advance.
