These machines screws worked great for what I needed them for. They were a bit long and I could not find any that were shorter so just had to cut some off to get the length I need.

I bought these as my local fastener supply store did not have anything like this. I stripped the heads of 12 out of 20 with minimal force. They didnt even crush the lock washers underneath them. I do not believe they are the steel they say they are. Cheap. Chinesium...be aware...

I purchased these to replace socket-head screws and flat washers that kept shaking loose. I almost lost a kickstand off my ebike due to that! I discovered they'd loosen every 2-5 rides, depending on how rough the road was and how long my ride was. I got tired of checking them all the time and Lock-Tite didn't seem to help as much as I'd have liked (the kickstand must put too much load on them as I hit potholes, etc.).From prior experience, I know wedge-lock washers like the ones from Nord-Lock are much better than star or split washers. However, they need a bit more bearing surface than is typical of most bolt heads.These are a perfect match for wedge-lock washers! Not only do they make full use of them, they also look great on my bike! Since I installed them, I've not observed them loosening at all. Unfortunately, this style in stainless isn't commonly found in most hardware stores. Fortunately for me, it is offered here!
