I like the concept and the way it fits in perfectly. I like how it protects the back of front seats and rear seats and makes a complete enclosure if the straps didn't break so easy for the sides that protect the door interior.

Every now and then, a new product comes out for the Maverick that causes me to add it to my truck even though I had previously purchased a similar product. Those times are infrequent and only when I perceive significant differences worthy of the trade. Mabett’s just released dog rear seat cover is the most recent example. By comparison to the old, this cover is more expansive in the area protected. My dogs look to inspect the outside world when traveling to the vet or groomers. Habitually they will stand with their front paws on the window sills of the rear doors. Mabett’s cover extends up from the seat to cover the doors’ plastic trim from scratches. Also, rather than straps going around the seat headrests to secure the seat cover, this item is tailored so that the headrests themselves are protected. The biggest selling point for me is the hard platform. My two dogs each weigh about 50 pounds. They are excitable when they see other dogs intruding in what they see as their personal world. On more than one occasion, one or the other, or both, in their excited state have fallen into the footwell because the old cover lacked support in that area. No longer, with the hard floor and the front between the seats netting, the dogs can see and feel like they are with us on our excursions. This product was worth the exchange of old for new.

This dog seat cover is perfect for the Maverick’s backseat. It’s made from tough material, so it can handle dirt, fur, and any scratching my dog might throw at it. The hammock style also covers the door sides, which is a nice touch since it keeps my pup from jumping around too much and protects the interior. It’s easy to set up, fits well, and even better—easy to clean. The cover feels pretty padded, so I know my dog’s comfortable back there. Overall, it’s a solid choice for keeping the car clean while letting my dog ride in comfort.

The Mabbett Dog Seat Cover for Maverick fits perfectly. Installation was a breeze, and only took a minute or two. Instructions were clear, and pictures were helpful. I don't think all 3 of my rough collies would fit in the back of my Maverick, but this hammock will work perfectly for hauling one or two to the vet or groomer.
