I’m a newbie to DIY and this kit came in extremely handy. I used everything except the tape. Going to be honest, it’s not the best.

The paint pin arrived broken which made it completely useless. Other items where good, but I needed to buy a 20$ paint pin.

The paint brush had a tendency to lose bristles to the wall as you used the brush. So maybe don't use the brush unless you have the patience to spend a little time pulling bristles out of the fresh paint on the wall. Rollers were pretty good. They did load up with paint after awhile, but their performance didn't suffer! The tray was good and just a solid as a cheap plastic one you could get at a hardware store. That said, I wouldn't be moving it around a whole lot. I had it sitting on the floor the whole time so it wasn't an issue for me. Also the tray was super easy to clean.The stir stick is definitely a stir stick. lolTape wasn't great. I would recommend using different tape.

This is a fantastic kit. The rollers work very well, don't leave streaks or smudges even when slightly overloaded, and caused no splatter when rolling. The miniature rollers are great for trim, bulkheads, and awkward angles. The tray is sturdy and the same quality you'd expect from Home Depot or similar. The brush was okay, it retained its shape well and picked up and held the paint efficiently, but I did have to spend some time picking bristles from the paint - only about five or six, but expect a little shedding. The only writeoff in this kit is the tape. It peeled up and off instead of sticking, even on a clean, smooth surface, and on the few times I WAS able to get it to stick, it took tools and tweezers to get it all off as it ripped like crazy and left pieces all over.Overall: Buy this kit (it is DRASTICALLY cheaper than putting one together for $60 at a brick-and-mortar-store, and just as good) but BYOT - Bring Your Own Tape!
