Like many others, I regarded the base tool with grass shear attachment as an atrocity, and wish I had never bought it. The hedge trimmer blade has helped transform this into a useful tool.. The blade installation instructions are worthless, but if you find the right YouTube video, you're all set. The directions don’t show where to apply the grease, so I put most of it under the locking, PITA cover. What grease was left over, I used to lube the blade. It cuts grass MUCH better than the grass shear attachment, which will be put into storage and never again see the light of day.

Works great! As you’re installing it to the head unit don’t forget to flip the rotating drive gear over from the grass clipper side to the hedge trimmer side. It’s slides off fairly easy. Knowing that will definitely cut your frustrations & installation time down.
