Ilove how the upper fold clicks in place and the bar is thick and solid metal and the bar can extend really long. I could easily use this bar for a small yorkie or a big newfie. It is very sturdy and as a dog groomer id recommemd this bar any day.The clamp is very wide that it could accomodate pretty well any table. I got a clamp before that wasnt wide enough for me to even slide on my table cause my table was too thick.

There are several things that are better designed than the less expensive models. The attachment to the table has large upper and lower 'holders' to secure the arm so it is not going to rock or disconnect easily with a large dog's movement. The knobs on all the areas are large and give better grip when tightening. The entire arm can be made into a nice package and reduced in length making it easier to transport, with no arm pieces sticking out. The basic construction is very strong and well done. This arm should last a very long time.

This grooming arm is made of high quality and strong materials, plus it appears to have a power-coat finish which should last for years. The knobs are large enough to allow ease of use and the clamp depth accommodates thicker surfaces than do most competing products. I have a work bench that requires a 3.5 inch clamp and this products handles that very well. My puppy is currently 15lbs and should mature to around 40 lbs. I am confident this grooming arm will handle the full adult size with ease.

Makes my life easier to groom my welsh terrier. Strong and sturdy arm. I am not a groomer, using the grooming arm at home. Like the quality see how it goes after having it for a while. It was easy to set up.

This arm is excellent! I have a very tall 80lb gordon setter who is literally on the table every day. The arm that came with the XL table I bought wasn't adjustable and came up to his shoulders..hence buying this additional arm. I am so impressed by the craftsmanship, it's very sturdy, very easy to adjust with it's telescoping arm and once attached to your table it won't move..this thing is solid! My boy is fussy (he's still young and fidgets) at times and trust me he's yanked on it a few times (wearing the noose) and he has no choice to stay put! I highly recommend it, looks great too.

This is better constructed than I thought. I have a 6 month old Giant Schnauzer, so far so good. Works with my Costco fold up table, set upu is fast and easy.

I am a professional dog groomer, and have been using these grooming arms for over 4 yrs now. I have 3 at my current shop, and plan to buy more. We do all size dogs from tiny to 200lbs, I have not had a problem with it adjusting for either size and I have never had a large dog bend it. That said, I don't let the large dogs go crazy on the table, just your normal wiggling and pulling. I do find that sometimes the larger dogs are able to move the part of the arm that is clamped to the table, but I i think this is more operator error, than a problem with the product. I find if I have someone else (like my husband) tighten it down it doesn't really go anywhere. Also to keep in mind, the clamp part of this arm is much bigger than the average clamp on a grooming arm. Over all this is a very sturdy, easy to use, economically price grooming arm. As a side note The Groomer's Helper, will fit this grooming arm. The only con I have to list is over time the finish on the grooming arm can get scrapped off by the tighten down screw, if the finish is stripped off the arm will rust, but this can easily be fixed with a little rustoleum spray paint.
