I had this powering my permanent house LED "holiday" lights. The KASA smart plug reported that the lights would draw between 10 and 80 watts depending on color, scene, and brightness, well within the specs of this Mean Well power supply. Now when I power it on the green LED light on the power supply flashes about once a second and there is no voltage output.

Mean Well power supplies are great quality as far as my experience with them goes. Do be sure to check the input voltage setting... these came set at 230V and need to be switched to 115V for use in the USA. Also, the packaging was not great. No padding at all, the PS boxes were just in a plastic bag. Both of the 5V power supplies I received had bent corners and were slipping out of the boxes. These should have been sent in a larger box with some padding since the shipping/mailing services are usually not careful with packages. The corners were only slightly bent so easy to bend back to normal. Both power supplies tested good though. Better packaging would have received a 5 star rating.
