These dust caps are made out of a very soft and malleable material. They conform well to the quick coupler and are installed or removed with ease. They stay in place very well and I have no worries that they will fall off.This is my first time seeing a coupler cap with a breather hole. From what I gather, I guess it’s to prevent water condensation from accumulating inside the coupler. Thankfully our couplers hang down, allowing these breather holes to drain themselves. If these couplers were facing upwards then these holes would allow rain water directly inside the cap and that would be an issue for sure. These caps are great as long as you’re aware of this breather and whether or not it will be useful with your particular hydraulic configuration.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy caps! Maybe because I thought they were expensive, or the only ones I've seen were expensive, but I had 4 attachments for my mini-skid steer that didn't have caps, as well as the machine itself, and I'm constantly having to clean everything before hooking it up (which you should do anyway, but these do a better job of keeping the big stuff off), and now with these caps, they stay much cleaner! The price is great, the quality is great, I'm very thankful to be able to cover everything!

The covers are great, they hold well and they protect my hydrolic links, but one thing confuses me a bit - don't all modern 1/2" connections come with a case drain too? I wish it came with a case drain cover, but not a big deal to pick up a smaller cover for the case drain.The covers feel really nice, they wrap snuggly to the large hydrolic connections without being a bother to install, and the package comes with 4 connectors, so I think the price is good for the end-result.I wish I bought the covers earlier because I have some corrosion from letting the connections get dirty and wet. Live and learn, no I know to cover and protect them with some good protection.

These caps stay on securely and they're flexible enough even in cold weather. The rubber tether is flexible enough to slip over the fitting easily. However there is a small vent hole on the top of each cap so it's not 100% dust proof.

This includes 4 sets of dust caps. I ordered these for my son to use on his CAT skid steer. They are made of good quality rubber. He said that they are designed for 1/2" quick connect hydraulic fittings and they fit perfect on the 1/2" quick connect fittings. He was also able to stretch them slightly to fit the 5/8" quick connect fittings on the machine. Overall, these are working well on his skid steer.
