The latest kit to join Kotobukiya's Mega Man X model kit line is a premium version of the series protagonist X! This color variant of X uses a special iridescent coating that changes color depending on the light, with vibrant shades of turquoise, blue, purple, and green that resemble the energy charge effect from the games! The kit includes two alternate face parts with eyes facing the opposite direction of the parts from the standard version. The premium version parts are made of clear blue plastic to resemble the effect from the first three games in the series! Collect and combine the parts from the two kits to create an even wider range from across the entire Mega Man X series!

Instructions are very clear, very good qualoty material, the metallic parts are a bit jard to get together and you have to be careful when removong from spru so you dont scratch them but thats normal, just advice for newcomers. Joints are very tight, possibility is good and when complete looks like he came out of the game into glorious true 3d.

First off it looks pretty great. The glossy finish his armor has is pretty cool. It didn’t take all that long to assemble either. I do have a few gripes however. Number one being it’s not very big. The pictures on the site make it look bigger than it actually is, not a huge deal but it did come as a surprise at least to me. Number two being some of the pieces did not want to cooperate very well by clicking together. I had one part that broke because it just simply didn’t want to go in. Luckily it was able to hold on by other pegs. And lastly, and possibly the biggest thing, it’s not very posable. Every time I try to make him strike a pose his arm or leg falls off. You may be better off going with a figure over a model, but for the collectors out there this is a decent buy

I personally prefer this premium version that mate one, unless you painting the original version.Comes with no extra parts to normal version.
