Bought this for my 5 year old niece who just loves to have boxes to keep her “treasures” in. It was very easy to paint, came with sparkly add-ons that looked like fake gems and the end result was an adorable little box she said was “fancy.” She was able to paint it by herself with minimum of help. The paint colors are bright and fun and it doesn’t take long to accomplish, so good for short attentions spans. This would make a nice activity for a child’s party.

On the lookout inexpensive crafts for a 3 year old I came across this set so I ordered.While browsing I spied it for sale 'Like New' on Warehouse half price so I quickly cancelled the full priced one (which was a good price anyway for a craft kit) and ordered the cheaper one.It was delivered the next day (signed for, no idea why), on opening it is exactly what I expected and the size I expected, quality as expected :-)This is a soft wood box (could crack with a heavy hand) and put together very well.This would make a great gift for young and old, anyone that likes to craft.

Good value. This set was so easy to do that my babysitter did it with our 2&5yo girls. Time well spent! It would be great for older ages as well.

Bought for my Granddaughter who likes craftythings, have bought several of the Melissa and Doug items for her and they seem good value for money - and it doesn't matter too much if there's a mess as she can use her Mum's Teflon sheets which I gave her aafter buying from Amazon. A great little gift for a young girl ( or isn't that PC these days?).
