I’m a big fan of Melissa & Doug products because they offer endless opportunities for imaginative play. However, this one fell a bit short of expectations. The hearts are much smaller than anticipated, which could make it difficult for younger children to handle. Additionally, the stickers and glitter feel very basic—more like dollar store quality—which was disappointing given the usual standard of this brand and the price point. That said, it’s still a cute activity for an indoor day, but I expected more.

As I said for my review on the flower magnets the heart magnets were alot of fun for my 5 year old grand-daughter. She truly enjoyed this decorating craft. The hearts and flower magnets look so beautiful on the fridge. She is so proud of her work. They are gorgeous says the proud Grandma. Looking to get the butterfly ones now. Highly recommend this product. Enjoyable craft to do.

My granddaughter LOVES these kits - she cannot get enough of them! She uses the pictured designs and meticulously paints, then decorates some of the magnest the same way. Once that's done, she'll tackle the others, creating her own designs.I've purchased several of these kits and they never grow old for her. This is a wonderful craft for a young child. It's simple, inspires creativity, and produces a little magnet that can easily be gifted, providing the child with the satisfaction of creating something for others.

My daughter decorated these for a cute valentine gift. Worked great for that but didn’t have a great magnet and held nothing.

My girls and I had such fun making these little magnets. The paints and decorations are basic, but they are keepsakes that I’ll have on the fridge forever.My daughters are 2 & 3, both enjoyed the craft.The quality is what you’d expect from Melissa & Doug.
