I bought this in May 2024 and was happy with it until today when I discovered it was leaking from many seams as shown in the photo.

This nozzle feels great and worked for about 2 uses. It began spraying from between the black and gray materials after that. It leaks so badly, it's un usable. Not happy with the quality at all.

So far these are the best sprayers I have ever had. You can't beat the raised thumb lever, its shape and size is perfect for arthritic hands. It is also very lightweight and has a good flow rate, the dial turns easily too, compared to countless others I have had, where the dial is stiff to turn right out of the box.

I absolutely love Melnor products for their comfort and ease of use. I have a nerve issue that causes intense pain in my dominant hand/arm and most hose nozzles make my hand hurt after a few minutes (pathetic right?). I had a Melnor nozzle that I used last year and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I didn't pay close enough attention to weather forecasts over the winter and didn't realize we were in for a below freezing night until it was too late. My hose and nozzle both froze and broke. I've been using a different hose nozzle for a couple months now because I had it as a spare, but it's not as comfortable to hold as my Melnor nozzle was so I set out to find a new Melnor. I thought this was close enough to my old one and decided to give it a try. It's a good nozzle, fine if you're just using it to water plants or maybe giving a dog a bath outside. It's very comfortable to hold and I LOVE the thumb trigger "switch" on the back. Not having to squeeze a trigger is great! The only thing I don't like, the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is the pattern selection isn't great. The pictures of the spray pattern are a little confusing and there is only one pattern option that's kind of like a "Jet" setting and it's not particularly powerful. This nozzle will still get used somewhere, we have several hoses hooked up all the time for different uses around the yard, but I'll keep looking to find one to use as my main hose nozzle.

Great ease of use, sophisticated design makes watering garden easy. We use it with high pressure to wash the car and outdoor mats. You can set pressure with your thumb then just hold it without squeezing a trigger. You can set it to deep soak shrubs or trees. I mostly use the gentle watering setting and also the water shower setting. Front yard worked so well, we decided it was worth it to get a second one for the backyard. Easy on hands.
