This is not stainless steel, it is aluminum.Trying to connect a Stainless 1/8" NPT into this, and the aluminum threads are getting chewed up.It is obvious by the weight this is Aluminum.Also has no SS markingsThe thread is also NST not NPT - A proper tapered NPT is destroying the NST threads on this Aluminum fitting.

This is made of aluminum, so it breaks easily.

broke while threading it on by hand. far too light for use. Aluminum not suitable for this application
