First one I got leaked due to poor thread tapping ( wasn’t 100% round), and the replacement also leaks. Very disgusted. 0/2 and will not be trying a 3rd.

Good air scoop, works exactly as expected. The reason for the 3star rating was that one of the 3/4” threads was poorly tapped and required retapping. Fortunately I had a 3/4” die and was able to retap it. Normally I would have sent it back but needed it to complete the job. Once the thread was repaired, everything worked perfectly. Maybe a little closer quality control would solve these issues.

Both of the 3/4 NPT threads leak. Very poorly machined.

Had installed heated floors in my house when it was built and could never understand why I couldn't get all the air out of the system until I did some more in depth research on everything and found that I was missing this jewel it cured my problem very quickly along with hit and cold spots in the floors.

This product did work, but the casting was very rough and the threads would not seal. I used teflon tape on the threads and it leaked. I tried "pipe dope" and it still leaked no matter how tight I got it. I ended up buying a Taco air separator locally.
