Great air hose for appropriate application

Using this to connect hard line air system to my compressor, which is mounted on rubber isolators. The female end WILL NOT SEAL when used with a brass 1/2" NPT pipe nipple. Another review says to use a black iron sched 80 pipe nipple, but I don't have one handy and was trying to get this system plumbed today.I paid nearly double the price of a Chinese hose for a Milton, and it won't seal. I'm not happy...

Unfortunately they leaked at swivel end.As I was needing them at a crucial point of my application, I needed some for sure sealing hoses, which these these turned out not to be.Back to the drawing board.

There are some customers that have said this leaks at the swivel connector, to fix this issue you need to use schedule 80 black pipe 1/2" nipple to connect to the manifold. If schedule 40 is used it will not properly tighten as thickness of the pipe wall is to thin and will not tighten to the taper that is down inside the swivel causing it to leak. Most of the black pipe purchased from a big box store is schedule 40 which is also not as high rated PSI, it is sort of like schedule 40 vs schedule 80 PVC pipe wall thickness.

Initial impression of hose were good. However, 6 months later developed a leak through hose lining. Contacted company but did not hear anything back. A week later had a replacement at my door with no further questions asked. Happy with that result.

Received with damaged head, was returned by someone else. (Bought warehouse deal that was not verified properly)The hose should have 2 threaded “male” sides on which you put your own female adapter, but instead they tried to make your life better with a loosely, thin walled, poor quality tin/brass female threads on one side, which a lot of people seem to have issue with, should have taken reviews more seriously.Do not buy. Hose (rubber) quality is great. Will have to try and replace that end with a new one (make this time)
