I needed an extension to move my air compressor. I went with the hose as it had the ends I needed. Amazon said it was a frequently retuned item. I figured I would get it and if it didn't work out I would send it back and just get a longer hose (which would be more expensive). Turns out mine seems to be a good hose so I'm keeping it and saving the $$.

My second one. The first one lasted about 2.5 years in a home hobby garage. The hose split at the compressor fitting due to flex. Maybe my fault, I routed the hose in a different patter, will see how it works.

Used this for air horns on my truck, thought it was great at first, now went to remove air tank to replace with a new one and the line is cracking/splitting apart. If this will be solid mounted inside it may last a good bit, but having slight play and being “weathered” it doesn’t last.

I use several of these 1/2" Milton air hoses in my compressor setup. One runs from the compressor to the inlet of my air dryer/regulator combo device. Another runs from the outlet of the regulator to an air manifold which then splits the air supply into multiple 1/4" air chucks. When using this hose with air fittings, you need "G" fittings, which Milton also makes. These hoses don't move around too much in my garage setup and typically last a few years in my garage which is 90+ degrees ambient temps 9 months out of the year due to the climate where I live. I think that's pretty reasonable for what is essentially a consumable item.Never had a Milton hose just blow out or come with a defect. The fittings are well made and the hose material very heavy duty. Will keep buying Milton products.

I've seen quite a few reviews stating that the female end leaks. I also had the same issue but I quickly realized that the reason was, I had connected it to a regular iron pipe fitting and the reason it was leaking was, it needs to be connected to a male brass fitting with a thick inner wall. I used a male to female brass fitting connected to the iron pipe nipple and no more leaks. Think of how a propane bull nose fitting works, it seals brass to brass. I hope this helps.
