This is a great ice scraper to keep in the car. I love how comfortable the handle is to hold, the foamy grip is especially appreciated on cold mornings when you're dealing with slippery and freezing snow and ice. The way to main part scoops reminds me of a snow plow. Instead of just scraping it off and letting it go wherever the scoop actually moves it away. I can't tell you how much I hate pushing an ice scraper through thick ice or snow and having it just fall right onto my hand. A freezing wet hand does not make me happy early in the morning. So the fact that it moves all that frozen ick out of the way is a huge plus in my book.

This scraper failed me today. It does not scrape well - it skimmed over the ice on my windshield. I bought it in October for just such a day as today. Now looking for something else.

I will update this review should it be prudent for accuracy.The scraper is approximately a foot in length, and the blade is approximately 6 inches wide. When using this scraper, you should be able to provide a better degree of force, than if it had a longer handle. With that said, if you cannot reach the middle of your windshield WITHOUT a scraper or brush in your hand, this may be too short for you to be effective. Unlike a brush with a scraper on the opposite end, this scraper has a shorter handle that may not be great for shorter people.The blade does look like it will be effective on ice and frost removal, especially with the 'push shovel' style shape. The broad side is more flat, while the short side has plastic teeth to help breakdown ice. Together, they will be excellent at clearing ice and frost.The handle is really comfortable to hold. The grip is foam covered for comfort and making it a little wider to be able to hold with a gloved hand. I like that it has a moulded loop on the handle for hanging in the garage when not in use. The smaller size does make for easy transport in the vehicle, without taking up too much cargo space.All in all, this is a really well moulded brush with all the feature required to clear your ice off your vehicle effectively. The foam handle makes for easier handling and a more comfortable grip. Although I have not tested this in winter conditions, I am confident that it will hold up, barring issues with the material it is moulded from becoming brittle in the cold. I will update this review should experiences change.Recommended.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

This ice scraper is sturdy and well made. The design along with foam handle is comfortable to use. The ergonomics are good and the handle allows for a good amount of force to be put into scraping.I didn't like the fact that it comes disassembled. Also don't know why it has use a small screw to be put together. Could have been a one piece device or a simple click in joining mechanism.

Winter has not hit us yet but when it does it will bring ice storms and thick layers of ice on our cars. This scraper is a serious attempt to get under the ice and remove it. One side of the long curved edge has ridges to drag across the ice to break it down. The curve also acts like a shovel to help sweep ice and snow off the surface. The handle is screwed together and is covered with soft foam. Depending upon the length of your arm and the height of the car I'm not sure it's long enough to reach completely across a windshield but would certainly work on side windows. Most of us have the long snow/water squeegee type of ice scraper. This will be an ideal addition for those extreme days.
