Plastic has come a long way since it first found its way into engine bays decades ago. But no matter how much stronger or resilient plastic becomes, it's hard to beat solid metal for parts your vehicle relies on every day. Especially if those parts carry vital coolant to and from your radiator, like the Y-pipe on your 2013-2014 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins. The plastic Y-pipe on the 2013-2014 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins is needed to connect the dual radiators and ensure efficient cooling. The Y-pipe is a critical part, but the plastic construction of the stock pipe means it's prone to cracking and failing over time. The Mishimoto 2013-2014 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins Y-pipe is constructed from cast aluminum and is precision TIG welded to ensure a lifetime of performance. Each Y-pipe is pressure tested to ensure all of your coolant stays in the system, where it belongs. Our aluminum Y-pipe features a sleek clear anodized finish and includes three high-strength t-bolt clamps to take the guesswork out of installation. And, like all of our RAM parts, this 2013-2014 RAM 2500/3500 Aluminum Y-PIpe is backed by our Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, so you never have to worry about a failed Y-pipe leaving you stranded ever again.

Could have been a problem with just the one i received but every single clamp was to big. I ended up having to max them out on the barb or they wouldn't have worked.

I have a 2014 ram 3500. I got this to replace the plastic wire in my coolant hoses that was starting to leak. It’s a good product fit good. The hose clamps worked. Great I’d get it again.

Used this for my lower & upper Y pipes. My lower one had failed in -20°c temps so it was a good time to just change out both. Product is built very nice and all clamps worked well on both pipes.

The machining and welding of the fitting is excellent. The clamps are also very high-quality. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this part on the recommendation of a diesel shop. My truck is 11 years old and I had no idea that they Y-Tube is plastic and cracks when it gets older. So I swapped it out with this Mishimoto part. Soon after I noticed coolant on the ground....clamps could not get tight enough. I swapped out with Traditional Ring Clamps. I am surprised they include clamps that cannot work inside the slight variation of hose size.

This is a good product except the smaller hose clamp is still too big to fully clamp the hose. The larger hose clamps worked great but had to source my own clamp for the smaller size.

Aluminum Tee is nice and appears to be high quality, clamps are too large and do not provide enough force to seal the hoses. So now I have $100 aluminum tee with crappy gear clamps so I can go to work in the morning….

Its not a matter of if...but a matter of when the crappy plastic radiator splitter on your 4th gen cummins will fail. Mine nearly left me stranded. The parts store did not have the oem hose and had to order it. This didnt help my situation of needing it right now.I ended up epoxying the hole to get the truck homeThis problem only affects 13 and 14 trucks with the 6.7 cummins and dual radiators. The factory splitter has hoses molded onto the splitter that fails. This mishimoto replaces the plastic part and you can reuse your old hoses which saves some cash. Not difficult to install just be patient. I used a pair of nippers to clip the old piece off. Be careful not to nick the hose under it. There are circular indentations from the molding process. Use the nippers to clip center to outside edge on both sides and the plastic ring will pop off.I strongly suggest investing in a radiator hose removal tool. It looks like a giant mechanics pick. The old hoses are crusted right onto the old plastic piece if you have more than 40k miles on the truck. The factory hoses are kind of thin skinned so its not very hard to poke a hole in one whilst frantically jagging a screwdriver around the perimeter of the hose.Once you have the plastic pipe out, clean the inside of the old hoses and slip the mishimoto on and clamp it down with the nifty stainless clamps provided. You will lose some coolant so pick up a jug.OAT coolant is what dodge calls for. I used to think...Bahh all coolant is coolant. A plugged heater core has since taught me differently. It is very similar to dex cool. I have seen quite a few heater cores fail in these trucks from mixing OAT with HOAT or dex cool.Top off the coolant, make sure the dog isnt under the truck drinking any spilled coolant and you are done.Ive had this part on for 10k miles so far and no issues.
