These are pretty solid lids, and the extra height is very nice, they fit properly and the handle on the top is a nice addition. Mine was missing 3 of the green disks when I got it, not a huge deal because I have quite a few of these, I can scrap them up, but less 1 star due to packaging and loss of pieces

Moved on from using egg cartons once I found these. Love the height of the lid. I also really like seeing the roots and how much is developing. Transferring into pots and the garden is a breeze being able to pop the cells out in tact.

I got these so that I could have my seedlings out without my cats getting into them. The trays are pretty nice themselves though the rubber on the bottom is quite flimsy. My biggest issue is that the lids don't lock into place. I had to tape them down to make sure they weren't knocked off or anything.

Overall, I am very happy with these seed trays. I garden A LOT, and I've tried a number of trays, plugs, etc. For trays, these are one of the best I've found for home gardening, although I doubt they would work for commercial quantities of seedlings.They hold humidity well, the vents work, they are compact, and I like the taller lid, since some seedlings do emerge fairly tall. It is very easy to remove seedlings without disturbing roots, which is awesome. They have held up well so far this season; we will see how many years I get out of them, but for now at least I will not have to budget for starting trays. I do wish the silicone was higher quality, as I am not sure it will last for years and years and I would like to be able to put it in the dishwasher to sanitize. My only other complaint is that these don't fit well with the square-sized silicon trays I bought when I try to put them in the standard sized black trays. However, I actually think these are a more efficient use of space as they fit perfectly on the seed matts. I suspect soil-blocking is the only cheaper, more space efficient, and gentler on roots option than these.

This package is affordable and comes with everything needed. The tray quality is pretty good and will likely stand up to quite a few growing seasons. The tray pans are ok but could be heavier and the humidity covers are fairly light plastic. With care both of these will serve for a number of years but will likely break well before the seed trays themselves.

Very sturdy containers, well built and quality plastic that I think will hold up many seasons. super easy to assemble. I like the silicone bottoms should be super easy to pop the plants out to re-pot later.

Very sturdy plastic with the silicone bottom makes popping out my seedlings easy. Like the high dome as well. Would be nice if the company started to make these in bigger sized individual pots for when I repot well before transplanting to my garden

I have another, more expensive/brand name kit, and this one works just as well. I love the little vent caps on the top, which you can turn to open/close. I also was surprised to love the little tools that came with it-- they seemed kind of random but are actually super useful!

Such a nifty seed starting tray. We got the clear trays, and my kids loved watching the roots grow. I didn’t have an issue with mold, and had a great germination rate. The material seems thick enough. When I transferred the seedlings to my garden, even after squeezing the pods to release the soil for removal, the plastic still held up when others have cracked.
