Purchased this to to replace a Hampton Bay faucet. This one is way more solid. It also cost more but you get what you pay for. We use it in the laundry tub and have a sprayer that attaches for washing dogs. This one does have a threaded end on the spout to attach the quick connect fitting for our sprayer.

This is the 2nd house we have custom built and put only MOEN products throughout the house. I like the simplicity of this faucet in my laundry room. I liked it in my last laundry room so decided to order the same one again. Repeat buyer of the same product. Nothing fancy, very simple yet great quality and looks nice. Moen really is the BEST faucet brand in my opinion.

The faucets themselves are great but it was hard for me to find fittings compatible for the parallel npt thread. They are not a tapered npt tread. Had to use quite a bit of teflon tape on the couplers to make a good seal.

I purchased this faucet to replace the old original faucet on my basement utility sink that had started to leak (it was the kind where the handles tighten and loosen a nut to allow water through vs. having actual valves). Once the old faucet was removed (which involved the purchase of an adjustable Basin Wrench for $23, lots of crud falling in my eyes as I loosened the nuts that attached the faucet to the copper water lines, and cutting pieces off with my Dremel), this faucet was a snap to attach. I appreciate that the the tighteners used to secure the faucet to the sink itself are plastic and are simply tightened down by hand. The ones I took off were metal and had corroded so badly they would never have come loose so I had to cut them off. So that was very easy to do. The only complaint I have - and maybe it's because I'm not a plumber or a handyman of any sort - is that the two nuts that are used to secure the water lines to the faucet couldn't be used. There is a nipple on the end of the water pipes that is bigger than the pipe itself, and it's that nipple that fits up in to the faucet. Then you have two nuts that are the same width as the pipe itself that you use to tighten the nipple inside the faucet and hold it in place. The problem is, you can't get the old nuts from the prior faucet over that nipple, and you can't get the new nuts that came with the faucet onto the product either! The lip of the copper nipple is bigger than the hole in the nuts. I can only assume that these parts can only be used when you're installing new pipes as well as a new faucet. Otherwise, you could never get these nuts on. This wasn't clear in the instructions, and it was frustrating fighting with it. Hence the four stars instead of five. Fortunately, the old nuts taken off the original faucet (and which were already on the pipes) fit the threads of the new faucet so everything worked out. Once fully installed, the product worked great and the handles delivered full pressure with easy turns of the handles. I'm very happy with it.

I had a laundry faucet that was about 10 years old that had washers. I was replacing washers every couple of months because my wife kept over tightening the faucet every time she turned it off (I also may have been to blame a few times). I searched around for a washer-less faucet for a while online and in-store without a lot of luck. They were either very expensive, didn’t have a great review, or had washers. I just need something simple because it was for the laundry sink. I came across this one on Amazon and it has great reviews for a great price (The orange home improvement store wanted $20 more for the same product plus tax). I installed it 2 months ago, and I can’t say enough great things about it. It has a hard stop for the on and off so there isn’t any over tightening. It doesn’t drip for me as a couple reviews have stated. When the time comes to replace the washer-less unit, there is no searching around for parts. It uses the standard Moen cartridge used in many other Moen faucets. The only con is that you do need to find an adapter for the faucet to screw on a standard garden hose. The threads you see in the picture are not for a garden hose. I give it 5 stars for ease of install, price, looks and reliability……..and it’s a Moen.
