I picked up the Mr. Buddy Heater for camping trips and emergency backup heat, and I have to say, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. I purchased this Mr. Heater unit for camping and emergency backup use. I try to test mechanical objects asap after receiving them to make sure they function correctly. This definitely does function as described, lit easily, intuitive controls; low heat is steady and reliable; high heat is solid. Ran it for several minutes on each setting with a 1lb bottle with no issue. I have a hose/filter to connect a 20lb propane cylinder but have not tested that yet. Will report back if there are any issues. So far, it works as advertised and CAN be used indoors even though the instructions say you should not (likely due to liability issues). There are multiple youtube videos showing people using this heater indoors next to a CO meter and it burns very cleanly with no issues. Overall it's a good value and puts out heat!

instant heat, i got a long hose adapter from amazon for a 20lb bottle. i tested how long it ran out. 20lb propane bottle lasted 55hrs, 25 hrs on hi, 30 hrs on low. heater is nice and heat is instant gratification. easy to use. i use to warm up my shed and motorhome.

Using the heater outdoors on low with 1 lb propane tank and it would not last more than 3 hours and 15 mins. I tried with couple different brands of small tanks but the times are exactly the same! However the heater is amazing and put out a lot of heat for the unit this size. Well built, sturdy and tip protection works great if it's moved suddenly. It will stay running if you want to move it but any sudden movement will switch it off which is great. If you're gonna be running it more than just 3 hours, I highly recommend using it with a 5 lb or 20lb propane tank with the adapter for longer run times. It also doesn't heat up at the bottom so can be placed on any surface which is a huge plus point

This is a great little emergency heater. I've tried it outside in mild weather in the winter and it works very well. Easy to use, and perfect to have on hand in case the unexpected happens. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Lo utilicé en el Nevado de Colima a -1°C al exterior, dentro de una tienda para 6 personas, en minutos estabilizó la temperatura con ventilación obviamente. Como comentan, un tanque en mínima potencia dura 3 horas, llevar 2 tanques para una noche comoda

It works perfect for the cabin on the boat. Keeps it warming. The 1lb lasts hours on low however it does drain quickly on high. We have refillable ones so we are happy to use both settings when needed. Recommended

I found this product on amazon.ca and it was the lowest cost I could find in Canada. It worked great I used it ice fishing and was able to sit in my tee-shirt in -30 degrees celsius in my pop up ice shack. The little bottles last a fairly long time and are easy to transport.However, I bought an attachment cord to hook up the heater to a 30lbs propane tank and it was awesome. No more wasting bottles and the heater would work for a long time I use it camping, hunting and fishing and it works perfectly.It has a shut off incase it tips over and I used it in a confined space with a carbon monoxide detector overnight and the detector never went off once. There are other models that come bigger and with a fan which would give you more heat but I find the heater is nice and compact and easy to store. It lights easily and stays lit with no problems. I have had buried in snow cleaned it off and it works fine. I have even accidentally left it outside in the rain and it still works great. This product is well worth the money and works great in a small space.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable heater. It is an awesome product. Reliable, durable and compact. If you are wanting something bigger the Mr.Heater does have a bigger model.
