I used this board for a 14 gen Intel build focused on 10G lan and some M2 gen5 build. This was the board to do this. It's a bit overkill for normal gaming. You probably won't see a difference between a 2,5 and a 10G on a game online, the bottle neck is the connection from your ISP at this point. It doesn't have a detailed printed booklet for board specs and connections, but there's the one online. Just be sure to have something to look at it when building.Note:There's only 2 SATAs ports usable if you use the M2_5 SSD port and one pcie slot if you use the M2_4 SSD port. Conclusion :Even with that, it's the best motherboard for an LGA1700 there is and It's the max you can muster from a Z790.

I recently built a gaming rig, and decided to use this motherboard. Currently runs with an i9-14900k and so far never had any issues. One thing I like so much about this motherboard is that it isn't tacky looking and non-gimicky branding stamps on it like other brands. I like a simple looking motherboard with no nonsense LED's on it. Also the MSI BIOS is such an easy BIOS to work on. They made it so easy to configure your settings compared to other brands like Gigabyte or ASUS. If you're looking for a mid to high end Motherboard for gaming or daily usage, then I recommend purchasing this. It's all worth it.

Let me tell you, this product blew me away from the get-go. Opening the box felt like unwrapping a birthday present – everything neatly packed and ready to go. And those replacement stickers for the fans? Such a thoughtful touch!Installation was a breeze, especially when it came to adding memory – no fuss there. And can we talk about that RAM speed? 7.8MHz! It's like having a turbo boost for your system. Now, onto the software side of things – Windows 11 compatibility. Who wants to stick with the old when you can have the latest and greatest? This motherboard is like the VIP ticket to the tech world. But, okay, let's address the elephant in the room – the pump. Figuring out where to connect it was a bit of a head-scratcher, but hey, nothing's perfect, right? In summary, if you're after top-notch performance, easy setup, and attention to detail, look no further. This product ticks all the boxes and then some. It's a game-changer for any PC enthusiast out there."

After shopping around for a while, and reading a ton of reviews, I came across this motherboard. I have to say I am impressed.Ton's of features built in that will keep you future proof for a while. Supports XMP to 7800, tons of m.2 space. Thermals are really good too.So far everything I have thrown at it runs great. I paired mine with a 13700KF, 4080, 360mm AIO, 6600MHz DDR5, 1000w power supply, and a decent fan array.Something to note, this motherboard takes 2x - 8 pin power cables, 1x - 6 pin power cable, and a standard ATX power cable. Some people have complained about the m.2 slot with the word ACE on it was difficult to open, it's not. For me, I pressed the button and it lifted up right away.Out of the box, there are a couple of bios updates.I think the only complaint, (if you even want to call it a complaint), is that with the 40 series video cards being so huge, it does cover the majority of the RGB on the bottom right. Still can see it a bit, but honestly who cares. If you are looking for one of the best higher tier motherboards, and want something that looks awesome, don't even hesitate. Spend the extra bucks, and be happy. MSI knows what they are doing!

great LGA 1700 board. high capacity for ram, M2 storage is hidden and has a good heat sink on it giving a professional look. lots of USB-a ports but could use more USB-c ports. other than that, it's been great to use.

It looks great with the subtle white covers. The board fits just barely in my case, I do need a bigger case. I like the dragon lightning effect and the placement of the VRM cooling. The SSDs hide under shields that provide additional cooling with the fan setup I have.Be aware that the latched M.2 PCIe 5 SSD slot cannot tolerate any shields on the SSD. Like ADATA SSD has a white shield and the latch will not close. Putting in my other 2Tb and click the latch closed immediately. So it has a very high speed M.2 Slot that I will find a purpose for.The system recognized my memory instantly as 6000Mhz even before I turned on the XMP profile. The MSI bios version works with 12/13th out of the box, I have not tested it with the 14th series. The board is very heavy, this is because of the shields. All in all the board works great with the 13900K, I am aware of the current issues of Intel chips crashing but this is due to incorrect overclocking settings.
