Had to return it as there was problem with ram slots. Had contacted MSI but they were of no help at all and wanted the customer to pay for shipping though it was not one month old and on top of that they would repair it, not even replace it. Returned it to Amazon. Let's see hiw the otber motherboard works

I upgraded one of my gaming computers with this motherboard. added DDR5 and a 4060 TI video card. works better than expected. I also edit video and pictures on this, works great.

I have bought asus 790 gigabytes 790 and have had issues with ddr 128 gb 4 sticks on all those brands I now have three piles of ddr 5 128 because of those boards not being able to run efficiently with that so I tried Msi god like z790 with i9 14900 128 dominator 6400 and this is rock solid! Yes the most expensive board but with issues intel was having my board ran flawlessly and now with the intel fix it is amazing Msi is way better then all my asus boards I have bought last year and that is about 5 asus and 4 gigabytes boards I have been a asus motherboard person since 1989 and have never sold or bought anything other then these boards but I now have three z790 boards and one 690 sitting here as garbage one works only with one stick of memory because it will not boot on 2 or 4 even after bios updates asus has become a cheap motherboard manufacturer just watch jaystwocents or other system builders who have loved asus and now are switching as much to any motherboard

I've used both this board and the Z690 Edge, so I can provide a direct comparison between both.This board comes with a CMOS reset button, which is much more convenient compared to being forced to use jumpers on the Z690 Edge.The board can also stabilize 4,300 MHz CL14 1T Gear 1 with 4x16 GB Micron B-Die SR, which was not possible on the Z690 Edge.It can also boot up to 4,100 MHz CL13 Gear 1 and 5,000 MHz CL18 Gear 2 with the same kit, which was not possible on the Z690 Edge.Besides that, there is nothing much that's different, aside from the aesthetics. The Z790 Edge looks beautiful, although it is actually silver, not white, unlike what's shown in the photos.
