Annoyingly leaky. Fluid stays in the straw and leaks from there. You’re unable to squeeze the liquid back downs Even with the lid shut it oozes out of the straws If your kid throws the cup, liquid flies everywhere from the top of the straw. If it’s milk, it’s not fun! Would not recommend this purchase.

My son has used these cups for the last year and we love them! The only negative is that if you don’t set it up right, it will leak.

Baby loves these. Some water sits in the straw top so little splashes. They give a temporary straw cleaning brush but you have to buy something more solid which they sell separately

Great cups, easy to wash the cup and lid but not the easiest to clean the straw, comes with a little scrubber to clean inside the straw but it's hard to push it all the way thru. Daughter enjoys them just be careful when you slide open the lid too fast as it always causes the straw to spray. However they are very durable and would buy again.

My son was breastfed until a year old. Around 8 months he was showing interest in straws so I decided to try these cups as I liked their features. My son caught on to them quickly and uses these all the time now and never bothered with bottles. Their ability to be used at any angle is great, and my son has been testing that out more and more. I use one for milk/pediasure and the other one for juices/water. They have a few difficult spots to clean but with a bottle brush and the provided straw brush you just need to take a minute or two and make sure it's all clean. I do find they leak pretty easy if they have build up pressure (from change of temperature or being tossed around) so I just make sure to twist the top off and on quickly to release the pressure before opening and be sure to check that the straw suction piece is attached properly to the lid as it can leak if detached (happens from my son feeling the need to toss it if I don't take it from him within the 2.5 seconds he decides he is done with it). Even with the time needed to check they won't leak and clean them I love these cups; they are super durable and great for my son.

At first I really liked this bottle. My son had no issue using it and the weighted straw is fantastic. However, after using them for a month our opinion has changed. They did leak, not from the bit where the straw goes but from where the lid screws on. It is really annoying. Also, we found the straw a bit flimsy and difficult to clean. After about 6 weeks both straw snapped and we've not been able to find replacements which is a shame. We have a lot of munchkin products and these bottles are the most disappointing we've had. We're not buying these bottles again, we've bought a playtex one and so far we're happier with it.

This product is NOT just for infants and small children. It is very useful for seniors who have swallowing issues and tend to spill and tip liquids accidentally from their beverage glasses. The plastic suction straw is generally NOT good for most seniors, too much suction work. This is easily remedied. Just remove the internal plastic straw. Instead use a paper straw, it fits easily in the small hole.I like the locking of the top, it's an additional plus. If the cup tips with liquid onto it's side it will not leak or spill at almost 3/4's full so it is excellent for seniors. Being plastic if it falls, there is no broken glass to deal with. It is easy for a senior to hold even in their 90's. And it builds confidence that there is no mess or shame if it gets tipped accidentally. This cup is a wonderful plus for seniors who accidentally spill or have increased difficulty swallowing that often comes with age - it is not just for infants and small children.Paper straws cost just a little bit more than plastic ones and can easily be ordered on amazon too. You would be surprised how concerned the elderly are about their contribution to plastic reduction. If you or someone you know is involved in senior care you can conveniently order this cup and the paper straw accessories on amazon and they will arrive at your front door quickly. This matters when you can't leave your charge alone. So Munchkin is not just for the small ones - it is a life saver for seniors!

I have been using the smaller one since my daughter was a baby. This works for water only. Juice spills all the time.

I would have had my son on straws a year ago. He's a few weeks from 2 years old, and because he was a bit behind in speech development, it was recommended we lose the sippy and get him on straw drinking. Problem is, he's been drinking from a bottle and sippy his whole life, and he tips up his drink, just out of habit. So, two months after I've given up possibly dehydrating my son (exaggerating; that was never a danger) by only letting him drink during supervised sessions, and enduring many fits because I wouldn't let him hold the cup, THIS MIRACLE product shows up in my recommendations on Amazon. It's simply a godsend.I don't caaaarrrrre that it takes three different tools to clean. Sponge for cup, bottle brush for lid. Special straw brush (provided) for the straw. (Which, by the by, manufacturer, can you please not bother giving me a bendy straw brush for a bendy straw? Thing is, the straw can get straight. The brush? Cannot. Fixed handle, please.) The straw brush included SUUUCKS but it works. At first, I thought, How Cool, this little bendy brush for a bendy straw...but it's TINY and hard to grip, Especially when you've got soapy hands. Also, because it is flimsy, and the straw is flimsy, things get weird. If you don't put the lid on properly, and I'm talking EXACT pressure here, it will back-fill and ooze liquid from the top of the straw. Doesn't happen all the time, but gets worse as the cup gets older. Other brands have done the same thing, so I'm used to it, and adjust accordingly. I'm not even sure it's the lid's fault. I might be overfilling. Whatever. It drips sometimes from the straw. Not often, maybe once every few days. But, in all seriousness, I am grateful for this. My toddler has already improved in his speech development because he is able to drink as he's used to, while developing the muscles in his mouth. The weighted straw allows him to lay back and drink his juice while he's listening to stories, or sucking down milk at naptime, or just tip the cup up because that's what he's done forever. There isn't just a taaaad bit of milk left in the bottom because it got caught in a pocket, because the straw reaches every bit of the inside of that cup.I love these cups. LOVE. I feel like I am winning at life every time I hand one to my son. Spill that, kid. Hide it somewhere when you're done so that I find it in two days, 'cause there's nothing in it to go sour. Challenge accepted, Mom.He still gets the last laugh, though; I have to wash it.
