It makes the grooming process so much easier. At first, I thought that the cat would get scared by the noise; however, it was not that loud. I didn't face any trouble shaving my cat.

I have had this for several months now and LOVE IT. I have a Golden Retriever who sheds like I have 6 dogs. I use this once a day on her - she loves it! I have only used the basic brush attachment as it’s all I really need. It removes all the loose hair along with any dirt or little leaves etc she gets stuck on her. I want paying attention to the filter and when I did go to clean it I was floored by the amount of actual DIRT in there. I rinsed it all out and let dry overnight. I now do that weekly just to keep it fresh. The machine is a little loud when in high - but my dog isnt bothered at all by the sound. This is a great little machine and well worth the cost. It’s SO much easier than a regular brush and no furflying around the room while brushing.

I have a long haired floofy Maine Coone who sheds and sometimes gets matts. This little machine is incredible on both counts. The different attachments are great as you have options. I mostly have used the deshedder and brush so far! It's not at all noisy and my scared of everything cat is not at all bothered by the noise, and in fact loves to be vacuumed! It's a game changer to lessen the flying fur!!

I have a dog and a cat, and I am telling you - this is worth the buy. Buy it and it will not disappoint. It comes with various attachment, if you want to trim or shave your pet, de-shedding and brush tools. Amazing product. I've been using this product every week since I bought it and I have no problems. The suction have 2 level, basic and MAX. I use the basic and it works great - makes grooming less of a chore. My cat is very skittish so grooming him is a bit frustrating and his fur just flies everywhere and if the weather is hot and dry, they just get staticky. This is the best thing, I put on the de-shedder brush and the hair gets suctioned into the dustbin and it is just easier to clean that. The filter is washable and air dried. Great product, I think if you are a pet owner and you do the grooming yourself, you have to buy this.

Great little machine for grooming my dog. Easy to keep the area clean while grooming and it is not too loud so my dog is not bothered. Also, light weight so easily portable. A few tools included but I mainly use the brush. I usually have to use it on max suction as my dog is fluffy. I also, have to empty the canister at least once mid grooming as it is small.

However, let me be clear: this product deserves five stars for its specialized purpose. It would be phenomenal for small to medium-sized dogs, or even larger dogs with less fur than my fluffball. For reference, I’ve included some post-grooming photos of my pup—she’s looking sleek and fabulous after her monthly bath!But here’s my wishlist for the perfect grooming tool: I need something with all the same features, a larger waste canister, and preferably cordless. Bonus points if it can double as a vacuum for our hardwood floors. I LOVE this pet vacuum. I am able to use it on 3 of my 5 pets (1 dog, 2 senior foster cats) because it's much quieter than a regular vacuum. Working on desensitization with my other dog and foster cat, who hate noises. I don't use all the attachments but I've used both pet brushes and the shaver for my pets. I love them! I now use the shaver on my Border Collie's paws and back legs. I do wish there was a long haired deshed attachment. The two brushes work well for the short haired cats and a bit for my Border Collie but it would be much better to have a deshedder for long coated animals as well. Currently the deshed tool works a bit on my border collie but when she fully sheds her coat in the spring these attachments won't be useful to get her shedding under coat, so I will be brushing her out with her regular brushes and only using this vacuum for clean up.MANUFACTURER SUGGESTION: Please make us a long coat deshed attachment! Four stars only because it doesn't work the best on my long haired animals without a long haired deshedding attachment. One with spaced out long hooked teeth with shorter teeth between the long ones would be ideal! But any attachment with longer teeth and space between would be welcome! Please research long haired deshed brushes before creating one so it's actually useful. It would also be nice to have a tray to hold the attachments in one neat and organized location (saw this with another similar vacuum) and a clip so you can get the vacuum hose attached to the body of the vacuum for storage purposes

Bought this to trim my mini golden-doodle puppy's wavy hair and save some money from having to take to the groomers, which costs $75 per visit.The clippers work great with a variety of cut length attachments incrementally increasing to a maximum of one inch. The incorporated vacuum system is awesome with literally no loose hairs flying around. It has three suction settings and gets slightly louder with each setting, but even at the highest setting the vacuum doesn't seem to scare my puppy. The vacuum canister is quite small and holds about two or three handfuls of hair, which means you have to empty it quite often. The other attachments for deshedding, etc work well and are also of good quality.My only concerns are that the actual plastic vacuum hose is semi flexible and may develop cracks with use in the future (duct tape will resolve that issue), and there is a HEPA filter insert in the vacuum that may need replacing at some point in time, which will be an additional expense.Something else purchasers should consider is they may want to also buy an assortment of grooming scissors to do final touch ups for the various curves and contours on the dogs body, and especially for the face.All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
