Sturdy but light. Works great for working in bed. Was recently sick for an entire week and this little desk was perfect for working or eating meals in bed. Love it. Folds up nicely to be put out of the way.

Package was missing a part - the little piece that keeps the laptop from sliding off - and so the laptop is always sliding off.

I got the NEARPOW Laptop Table for occasional use in bed, but primarily for use on on my couch, so I can recline while I work rather than being stuck at my computer chair and desk. It works precisely as advertised, for the most part.Paired with a modern 14" laptop (light and slim), the stand feels very sturdy during use, and remains so even when tested with an older 17" laptop (heavy and bulky). It works the same on the bed or couch, but on the latter, I simply have to make sure I don't bump one of the legs and send it sinking in between the cushions. So far, this is precisely what I expected.I also decided to test this with my Surface Pro 7 + type cover; while using the built-in kickstand, the table is just not deep enough and part of the keyboard protrudes past the front edge of the table -- I won't downrate the product for this, since the Surface Pro is not a laptop, but I wanted to share this for people that may have the same idea. I was, however, able to use that same Surface Pro when I put it in one of its folio cases, since it eliminates the need to use the kickstand.The stand also works for non-kickstand tablets, but unless they, too, are in a folio case, they will need to be placed flat on the table and rest against the stopper at the bottom edge. If you angle the table at all, anything you put on it will slide to the bottom edge -- this is common sense, but the product images would have you believe that your phone and eabud case would float beside your laptop as you work; this simply can't happen, because the tabletop is smooth and has no grip at all. Used with a tablet, I find that this table is best suited as a stand for video consumption rather than productivity.

This is the smaller size of the products, and for scale, my computer is a 17” one. I originally got the larger one but it came damaged. I thought it was actual wood, but it’s particle board under the faux wood grain. They refunded me upon shipping back the damaged one. After seeing how big the first one was I realized it was a happy accident that it came damaged because this size is much more manageable. (The large size is as wide as a large couch cushion).I love this lap table. It’s a bit higher than I would like, but the fact that it tilts down makes up for this. It’s high enough to discourage the cat, which is nice. It’s lightweight, and sturdy, and the tilting feature is easy to use. When you first pull the legs down to use it, you have to haul on them hard! I was afraid I would break it, but it didn’t. I would recommend this product.

Bought this for my 5ft 80 year old mom who uses her iPad while sitting in a recliner. Perfect size at the lowest height and it tilts so she doesn’t strain her neck. I tried 5 different ones and this one is the best for short people

I was looking for a table I could use in bed so I could read on my Kindle, or use my iPad. This one seemed to have the height and more important the slope that I was looking for. It works well. It feels a little fragile but so far so good.

Sturdy, good quality build for the price. Good fit for my 17.3 inch laptop and my cooling pad.It would be better if the table was able to be placed a few inches lower. This can be high when used on a rocking chair.

This product is pretty great overall! I actually wish I'd bought the slightly wider version since I like to cross my legs and it's I can't get this over my lap unless I'm sitting with my legs out or with only one leg folded under. (Something to keep in mind depending on how you like to get comfortable.) I find the table to be reasonably sturdy. It's obviously not unbreakable, so if you have rowdy kids or pets, use caution. I bought this table partly so I could cuddle with my pets in bed and still get work done. If you have a pet who likes to sit in your lap while you work, you'll love this. The table can be adjusted to a height where your pet can sit on your lap comfortably without interfering with your typing.This table is also great to alleviate wrist strain. You can adjust it so that your arms are comfortably level with the keyboard, which has helped me a lot since I struggle with chronic tendinitis. It's also great if you're bed-ridden for any reason (or if you're just feeling lazy on a Sunday morning). If you feel like watching something in bed but don't want to fall asleep on the couch, it's perfect for that. And of course, it can be used as a standing desk depending on the height of your table or counter (convenient if you wanted to watch something while cooking or reference a recipe, etc).Anyways, I do wish the product was just a bit less expensive, speaking as a post-grad student with not a lot of money to throw around. I still don't regret spending on this. Actually, my only regret is that I didn't have one of these years ago. It's a great way to save your back (and avoid burning your legs with a scalding hot laptop in the summer). I would definitely recommend this product.

I had previously got another laptop table to convert my regular laptop desk to a stand-up desk. I really liked how convenient it was transforming my existing table to a stand-up desk and at fraction of the cost. However, after using it for a couple of months now, I am starting to find the mouse pad placement to be a little awkward and inconvenient to put on and take off when I move the table. So when it was time to get one for my wife, I decided to get another type to see if I will get a better experience. And wow, this table really gave me everything that I needed from my existing stand-up table and more. It is sleeker (with the wood trim), more comfortable (soft rubber stopper for resting your hand), easier to adjust (quick release lever) and easier to transport (all in one design and easy to fold and un-fold). The only feature the other laptop table had was the fan, which would be nice if this table had it too, but both my wife and I agreed that the fan is more of an extra feature rather than critical requirements. My wife and I couldn't be happier with this table. We'll be sure to fight over this table.

Just received my bed table and I love it! It was easy to set up, it looks good, it is well made and works like a charm! I have to sit with my legs up due to swelling in my legs and I needed a bed table that lets me work comfortably while sitting up in bed. I love how it locks into different angles and how the legs are adjustable so the table can be at different heights. Great product, highly recommend it!
