This case did not translate well when transferring PSP3000 components over. I was highly disappointed after being excited for the completion of this project. However the return window had already passed so I could not return the product.

Almost perfect! The front face buttons for home and volume sink into the face plate instead of sitting up like they should also the lanyard/cellphone strap wasn't cutout (I think I'll keep it I actually kinda like it.) The biggest issue for me is the O button button membrane is misshapen and doesnt press very well... These aren't big deals tbh I've reshelled multiple other consoles and you always run into problems. Not all the screw posts were predrilled so you need a good screw driver and bitset for that. Use the original door locking mechanism the one that comes with it didn't hold. Try to use the original screws they are better quality but the ones I used worked fine as I spilled my tray on accident. You may need to trim posts to fit the shell togeather I had to do only 1 so not bad lol. This is 2 to 6+ hour project. The PSP is one of the most over engineered consoles I've seen. If you have a 3001 you may or may not have the wifi antenna in the back and some other changes, with careful placement it accommodates 3001 as well as 3000 but the heat spreader sat a little weird, screw it into place. The hardest part honestly is the UMD drive, yours may not use plastic spacers to hold it in and you have to pull it off as I did. The last hurdle I felt was the placement of the front button row it slips under the silver plastic not over. (Had to tear open my other 3001 to understand it and I feel so dumb lol.) Make sure you test everything before you close the case. Oh and becareful removing the right face button and right trigger membrane thing. It sticks quite hard, warm it with a hair dryer and try to not bend as you pry it up.I may reshell my other 3001 may not.

The screwdrivers doesn't work, because of that I couldn't install the replacement.

Very nice over all, the fit isn't exactly the best but with a little work it fit alright. My only real issue is that the UMD slot only latches on one side and it's not a very snug hold. Nonetheless it doesn't affect the playback of the discs
