NICE-POWER R-SPS High Power Bench DC Power Supply-UL Certified
NICE-POWER R-SPS high power series dc power supplies are specially designed for use in laboratories, schools and production lines, with output voltage and output current that can be continuously adjusted between 0 and nominal values. The stability and ripple coefficient of the power supply are very good. With short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection and other protection circuits, can work at full load for a long time, the power supply can be used as both a regulated voltage power supply and a regulated current power supply, loved by the majority of users.
Warm tips for charging lithium batteries:
- Please connect the positive and negative poles of the DC power supply with the positive and negative poles of the battery correspondingly;
- When the charging current ≤ 50mA, please disconnect the battery in time to avoid overcharging;
- The charging limiting voltage follows the following calculation formula:
Charging voltage = 1.2 * battery rated voltage.
Charging current = 1/3 battery rated current.
Please note: Due to the design of the power supply, the front panel is only suitable for output currents up to 5A. To avoid damaging the power supply, connect the high current connector on the back of the unit for output currents above 5A. The back panel can reach the maximum current of the purchased specification: for example, if you purchase 30V 30A, the current can reach 30A by connecting the back panel high-current terminal.
Stable Output
The dc power supply can easily adjust the required voltage and current, and automatically calculate the output power according to the output voltage and current. It has high accuracy of 0.01V and 0.001A.
Intelligent Fan
When the operating temperature of the lab power supply exceeds 122°F or 50°C, the fan will turn on intelligently to dissipate heat effectively. Reduces working noise and extends equipment life.
4-digit LED display
The LED screen provides more accurate and clearly visible readings of voltage, current and power values.

Decent unit, heavy ac cord, leads that come with it are pretty good. Tested accuracy with fluke 179 meter in series, within 0.001 amps and volts. Nobs arnt very smoth to turn but not that bad. Slightly disapointed in the banana plug ports only being rated at 5 amps as banana plug ports and leads are generaly rated for 10 amps. Using the rear screw down connections the power output of the unit it pretty impressive for the money and initial quality seems decent. We will see how it holds up long term.

Someone else mentioned theirs seemed to be stuck in constant current mode but upon reading the included instructions it states that the power supply will automatically switch between cc and cv mode depending on the load, for instance charging a lipo battery you want it to terminate at around 4.2v, you can do this easy by setting the voltage and desired current then it will automatically ramp down the current until the battery reaches 4.2v on its own without any current input.Directions are pretty simple and I only used it to charge a drill battery at low current which worked well

5 amp at higher voltage only. The lower the voltage the lower the amperage you can get out of it

I ordered the 30 V/30 A model for use in a research lab and it arrived with a small defect on an internal wire which made it so it did not turn on initially, but I was able to fix this.Update - the seller has given me a full refund on the power supply. After the repair it has worked as intended up to the 30 A limit with a very fast switching time which meets our needs in the lab. The included wires for high-current operation have worked great/no issues handling the current for an extended period of time and the jumper cables for the front worked with another power supply we use for other equipment.

Received the item and it was defective. Contacted Amazon and had another one in 3 days. It works great and is very easy to use. Hooked to my fluke meter and it is .001 off. Couldn’t ask for a better power supply. Have been using it for a while now and it is one of the best I have ever had. Ordering the 120v next.
