No problem installing them on my Pelican kayaks. I used rivets instead of the provided screws and also some marine silicone adhesives. Amazing result.

These are amazing, there was 4 in the pack only needed 2 so have 2 extra for later. install was simple, a oval hole, cut a circle then opened it up a bit with the dremel and sanding wheel. threw down some marine silicone around the hole and droped it in, 3 pop rivits and a bit of silicone over the heads and was done. took me roughly 10 min per hole to fully install. have been out 5 times now and zero leaks, holds my rods very securely and have zero worrys of one falling out if i hooked a fish trolling, definitely one of the best up grades iv done to my kayak, i might add i have a sit on top kayak and thats why i used pop rivits. the included screws looked fine but i never used them , they went in my extras drawer. once again fabulous product definitely 5 stars. price was good to as was shipping, took 4 days to receive and that good seeing as im very rural.

Overall does as designed but a couple drawbacks. Needs a template for cutout. Cutout is not round due to angle of mount. Seal could be thicker to deal with more curvature of kayak. Works for my needs but just barely, may not work on others.
