I got these today and the first thing I thought was wow nice little box. Then I looked at the flies and thought how the heck are the fish going to see these little flies when fishing the rivers. The wooly buggers might be the only flies I will salvage from this box. The smaller flies might be ok in a small pond but I don’t recommend these for river fishing. A bit too small.5 Stars for the box1.5 stars for the small flies but well made.

Very nice box. Bought it because the local fly shops have overpriced fly boxes because they are logoed. Think 15 buck or higher over priced. This is the same box but I could sticker it as I pleased. Very water proof. Latches stay shut and, importantly, do not pop off. Sturdy. Excellent size. I am thinking it's time for another one.

Nice flies, definitely some that look like the bugs here. The hooks are on the small side so probably best for smaller streams. Unbeatable price. At the local fishing stores I'd get 10-12 flies for this price, at general merchandisers maybe 20-30. Very useful box too. Shipping was much faster than estimated. I'm sure I will be ordering these again.

This thing comes with a pretty neat pocket sized case and an assortment of flies that will catch sunfish and small bass (maybe trout but I'm from texas) the bees just kill it as well as some of the others.Pros: value, decent case, decent flies, just a box up fun.Cons: maybe not the best flies and the fish tear them up eventually but who cares as long as you are catching fish... it's a good thing in a way.

Very happy. Nice little box that will fit in shirt pocket. Great selection of flies for summer brook trout fishing in small streams. Most flies are well tied but some have sloppy bodies and head. The dry fly hackles are bit long and not bushy so they would not float flies well for long. That said, consider it a wet fly box and you cannot go wrong especially with the price ($24 - June 2015)
