I don't know why they say these are inside/outside decals other than they are somwhat water proof. These are meant to put on the outside of your window or door. If you put them on a window on the inside you would be looking at the side that is printed.I have had these decals before and they basically need to be under cover when outside. I had one on our garden doors which are on the west side of our house and other than the eave on the house, there is no protection from the weather and after a couple of years of rain, snow and sun, the weather ruins them and you have to replace them. The ones that I have on the outside of our windows and on the doors that are under the protection of our covered deck, they are still in perfect condition after 6 years.
