It’s a hammer. Oddly I thought the sharp but may be better for smashing into the plaster board but the rooms but does the job better for some reason. The sharp but is good for accurately hamming at bits say at the edge.2 ceilings later and they are all bashed out.Does the job.

I've used an Estwing for 15 years and decided to try an OX brand. Not sure if it is just a sign of the times, but as soon as I use the hatchet side to pry something, I noticed the hatchet twist slightly and every once in a while I have to borrow someone else's hammer to smash mine back straight.

The best hatchet ever! Almost does the job for you! Would recommend if you want to look like a professional. I would’ve paid double the price.

Looks great but steel is not up to scratch . Used for 1 week and the hatchet bent a little and the back corner broke off .My 5 year old estwing is in better shape than this .

It seems to be fairly nice. I haven’t used it. However it does have a good weight and it looks very nice. I guarantee my brother will love it !
