A nice addition would be some quick instructions but otherwise works great. The round end connects to the CO2 tank, and that's the side where the plastic washer goes. The larger end where a wrench would go, is where the SodaStream bottle would go, and is where you put the rubber washer.Leave the twisty thing on the side alone (screwed in fully) at all time and just loosen the ss bottle slowly once full and everything is shut off. I tried once opening that valve and it just chewed up the O ring when I tightened it back upFreeze your ss bottle to get the most complete fill.Connect this between your upside down CO2 tank and ss bottle, open the CO2 tank valve ever so slightly just til you hear it make a noise letting you know it's flowing. After about 5min or when you no longer hear noise when putting your ear to the co2 tank, shut the CO2 valve you're done.

I tried for about an hour to get this to fit my Co2 bottle but it just wont screw on. It's definitely the right size but i suspect the threads have been manufactured badly. It tries to bite but pops off after half a rotation. I've tried 2 different gas bottle and it's the same on both. The soda stream side fits perfectly. Annoyingly I bought this a few months ago and have only just tried it, so can apply for a refund.

I got some help from other buyers' comments to do my installation. Should not be guessing where to use washers when connecting to a high-pressure C02 tank. The supplier should provide some installation instructions for the adapter. So I'm knocking off a few stars.

Easy Peasy, One Two Three IF!?!?!1) Hard Gasket Goes in between Your Large CO2 Supply Tank Output and This Connector. Screw This Connector To Your Supply Tank CO2 & Fasten Tightly.2) Large Black Malleable O-Ring Goes on the Side of Your Purchased Valve. Install by alinging it and pushing it down in place using a blunt plastic end so it is firmly in place past the threading.3) You get 3:spare mini black O-rings for the bleeder valve, there is already one installed on your newly purchased connector.Make Sure, you place your empty SodaStream (or similar brand) CO2 bottle in your freezer for 24hrs or more. THAT is the K-E-Y to any bottle refill success.Take Your empty Frozen CO2 Cylinder Bottle, screw it on your CO2 Supply Tank (mine needs to be upside down) hand tight.Crack open ever so slowly Your CO2 Supply Tank (mine is literally less than a 1/4" of a turn), when you hear the beginning of a sound, immediately stop at that point and do not open your bottle any more. Stand back and listen to the gas filling your empty SodaStream bottle, your will also see the frost that built up when your SodaStream bottle form when you took it out of the freezer and placed it empty on the CO2 tank DEFROST. That is the reaction that happens when your empty SodaStream bottle of taking in the COLD CO2 gas as it's refilling.Your will hear the noise filling up the SodaStream stop after about 30 seconds, the frost on the outside of the SodaStream bottle will sweat. Closed the supply bottle CO2 tank bottle. Crack open the bleeder valve to discharge the pressure between your newly acquired valve and your freshly refilled SodaStream bottle. You can weigh your SodaStream bottle and you will see that it now weighs 1200gm (a smidgen less or close to ideal volume by weight.), Hence refilled.AGAIN, it's worth repeating... Make Sure, you place your empty SodaStream (or similar brand) CO2 bottle in your freezer for 24hrs or more. THAT is the K-E-Y to any bottle refill success.

So, I took this to my local paintball shop and we spent an evening trying to fill it up. We did everything as instructed in the reviews. We turned over the tank, we used the o-rings, the bottles were real cold. It did not work. Not even opening the big tank slowly. The pressure inside the adaptor is not enough to refill the bottle. Total fail.Would not recommend. just caved in and got a 20oz paintball tank and used that instead.

Product arrived on time with no damage (plus for the seller). The item is just as advertised, and if you follow the directions in the video on how to fill a little tank from your 5-10-20 pound bottle (yes, upside-down) it works perfectly.A couple of items worth mentioning and some cautionary notes:1) The bottle you are filling needs to be certified, so check the last time the bottle was static tested. Don't fill a bottle if the certification had expired.2) There are no directions, so make sure you put in the O-Rings that come with the adapter. The black rubber one on the pony bottle side, and the white nylon one on the supply bottle side.3) MAKE SURE you put your little pony bottle in the freezer for the night before filling it. This is critical to get liquid in your pony bottle, not just gas.4) After filling my first two bottles, I noted that my full bottle was a deal higher than the standard fill I got with exchanging bottles..5) Lastly, this is highly pressurized gas, treat it as such. Wear PPE, and don't play around or allow the bottles to tip over or to fall off the bench, you might really regret it .
