Your cart is empty.Permatex Valve Grinding Compound contains 4 particle sizes of Silicon Carbide in a grease mixture: 220, 180, 150 and 120. The course 120 grit will grind down to a fine 220 grit. Use Valve Grinding Compound to achieve precision mating of metal parts and to clean, sharpen and smooth-out surfaces. Applications include lapping, honing and grinding valve seats, gear teeth, bushings, flat surfaces on castings, shafts and sharpening shear-type cutters. Removes burrs, surface defects, carbon, gum and corrosion.
