I recently purchased Pet Genie on the Go to replace an older dispenser that finally broke apart after years of use. I didn't realize there'd be such a difference between dispensers, but this one is SO much better! Loading the bag roll is a snap - literally! - and the dual attachment points mean the dispenser stays tight and flush against my dog's leash. No more annoying dispenser bouncing around as I walk. The details in the design must have come from a dog-owner since it's so practical. I especially appreciate the wide, straight dispenser slot so the bags can roll out seamlessly (no bunching) as well as the rounded protruding "mini prong" that allows me to tear off a bag one-handed (game changer) - I highly recommend!

I purchased this product because I wanted to have easier access to bags when I brought my dog outside. I think this is great as it stores the waste bags with ease and they roll out of the unit very easily when I need them. I can hang this outside and access it at any time that I need. the quality of the bags is also good and they do the job just as they should. At the price it is listed at, you can't go wrong on this purchase and so I highly recommend recommend it!

This is a handy device. It allowed me to ensure that I always had a poop bag in hand when walking my dog on leash. It is easy to attach to the leash and easy to use. It is also cost effective. I have used other products like this before. This was is right in line with those. I found no features that really set it apart from similar products. I do like the lavender scented bags though. That was a plus. All things being equal, I would purchase this product over others.

I love the design of the Pet Genie On the Go dog poop dispenser. It’s thoughtful, sturdy and works so well with one-handed motions. The dual attachment points are a fantastic touch, as the Pet Genie stays put on my dog’s leash. The bags are easy to swap out and the opening to easily rip them out is perfect. Great stuff!

Since there is only a single roll of 15 poop bags included, I suppose the review should be more about the bag dispenser rather than the bags, so I will get the bags out of they way. The poop bags seem fine. They are not thick, but they are strong and I did not feel any risk of tears or punctures even as I pull one out and tear a piece. It was easy to open the bags. They did not have handles. While they are said to be lavender scented, they have minimal scent if any at all, but that is fine because I never understood why something you put poop in would have a scent at all.The dispenser was interesting mainly for two things: the straps and how you open it. It was nice that there were two straps for different attachments. One strap is of the wide loop type that lets you hang it on any hook or loop and the other one is of the tight loop tight, something you can attach to your belt for example. Both straps were of flexible semi-soft silicone. The flexibility helps with attaching the ends of the loops. While there did not seem to be any problem with the ends locking in, I still didn't feel comfortable as I worried the soft silicone getting loose and the end of the strap unlocking.The opening mechanism was different from other dispensers I have seen. It was hard to figure out where to press and where to pull to open it, but after a few times you get to get a handle of it. What I liked was that you did not have to struggle to have a bag hang loose from the slit for the first time you place the roll in. The dispenser opens up and you place the roll sideways and you can push the firs bag out of the slit as you do that.There is also a piece to function as a tearing mechanism, but it did not seem very practical as you have to have a hole between the individual bags in the roll and not every poop bag roll has that.Overall, I think it is a fine dispenser as long as the silicone strap locks hold on.

This is a very well designed and carefully thought out product. Ease of putting a roll in, the bag stopper to help cut the bag with just one hand, the simple silicone strap at the back to attach to a leash (and it fits!!!) and finally the poop bags themselves - sturdy and nicely scented! Will come back and add more after a few weeks of use, but right now, it works brilliantly! Definitely recommend.

I jumped on this when looking at the listing photos and thought this dispenser is wonderfully design and is a must have item. However when I received the package and put it on my leash I quickly realized it does not work the way it intends to, as the two point attachment silicone strap feature (which is what attracted me in the first place) is not applicable on my retractable leash due to the handle orientation. The dispenser just dangles like any other poop bag dispensers (see photo). To be honest this isn’t really the fault of the dispenser but rather I was too impulsive and did not think through before ordering.However the loading system is actually quite difficult to use as mine is very tight so it is a pain to open. Once i get it to open up, it’s another annoying process to load and line up the roll, squeeze it in place, thread the bag through the opening/slot, and push it close. I can already foresee the cover snapping off from the stress of opening/closing. The entire process of refilling is way more complicated than it needs to be and I was quite frustrated during the process. My current dispenser is a basic simple inexpensive one that ever has, it loops onto my retractable leash and dangles exactly the same way but operates much easier and faster. No messy fumbling. Lavender scented bags or not, that’s really irrelevant, at the end of the day poop bags are exactly just that, poop bags. 15 poop bags is easy to go through especially if you walk your dog 2-3 times a day. I cannot imagine refilling this thing every 5-6 days, it will drive me nuts. I find this pet genie is a glorified dispenser that does not offer improved user experience and it’s quite inconvenient. At a price tag of + $14, unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

I have 2 dogs, one is 30lbs and the other is 85lbs. I really wanted to like this, but in the end I don’t think it was worth it. It only fits the small rolls of bags, so if you have bigger or multiple dogs your rolls won’t fit unless you pull some off. The bags that came with it were fine, they were easy to open and didn’t tear, but again if you have bigger dogs probably not the best fit. The bags were lavender scented, which I think people think it will smells great, but it’s just floral poop. I’ve had it for about a week now and I noticed that the plastic on the side is starting to show stress and has little white marks so I don’t see this lasting. I really wanted to like this, and I think it would be great for someone who has a small dog and doesn’t need multiple bags on a walk. I’ll use it for now, but it will probably break within the next month. Bummer.
