In recent years, I have been using a gardening type of velcro to support my tomato and pepper plants, and I can't say that I have been happy with that solution. When I saw these plant clips, I saw the potential benefits of this gardening season and wanted to try them.Since I won't start planting seeds indoors for a couple more weeks, I don't know how well these will stand up over the summer or if these clips will chaffe the plant. I will know better later this fall, but it looks like these will do well for my garden.Of the expected benefits, adding support to the plants with these clips will undoubtedly be faster. I expect to be able to recover most or all of the clips at the end of the season, reducing the loss of ties/clips compared to previous years. At 6 cents a clip, this is an economical alternative.
