I use these supports for a lot ofyvtallwr plants that tend to flop down when the flowers form. They would be much more useful if I could find some that were a bit taller.

These half rings would be fine for new plants for initial support but are woefully inadequate for established bushes. You would be much better off investing in a more substantial and larger full ring. Not recommended.

I was hoping to use these stakes to tame my oriental poppies. They are planted very close to daylilies so that the foliage of the daylilies covers their brown leaves once they go dormant. The problem with that is they swamp the daylilies in the spring.Result? They just aren’t strong enough or tall enough to do a good job.I had to use 3 stakes per plant and they aren’t doing a great job of containing the foliage.I think a better use would be on much shorter plants like Campanulla.I do love the clips that come in the package, they are going to be terrific for supporting my tomato plants and the green wrap ties will also be useful and blend well in the garden. This product isn’t bad at all, I merely misapplied it.I believe if you have smaller and shorter plants the stakes will do a decent job.For my purposes I need something more robust.

These could have been much better than they are, but the height is too short for the plants we have.Since the height isn't adjustable, you're pretty much stuck with what you get.You can link them side-by-side and extend how wide to make them (i.e. you can make a small fence with them), but the limit is the height.
