Easy to install, they are plastic. But fishing rods don't weigh much, so are quite adequate for the job.

These are probably for small fishing rods...not surf fishing rods with large reels. Husband may still use...

Work okay but would not buy again dose not hold the rods like said...Can't really store baitcasters on it unless you take the reel off.Worst part is when you want to use a rod you half to take them all off to get the one you want.. an if you don't the otgere rods will fall off well removing the one you want..
