Too much clearance between pegs and lid. Wrenches all fall to the bottom. Purchased at Costco for $299. Will be returning. Save your money buy a Montezuma.

This is a good strong tool box. But my real review is the company. We had a slight issue and they went above anything I expect to make sure we were a happy customer. I will definitely purchase from them again if they have something we need.

After receiving the toolbox and before loading it up with tools, I thought I should check the latching mechanism. Lo and behold the lid would NOT latch. The only way I could see what was happening was to place my phone inside the toolbox with the video camera recording. I discovered that the two side locks were mounted too high for the bars on the lid to catch. After working on it for about 2 hours lowering the side locks 1/4", the lid latches as it should. It seems to be a sturdy box. I'll know more after I load it with tools and mount it on my truck bed.

Didn't realize until it arrived it was 85lbs EMPTY! Mine arrived with minor damage/blemishes from shipping handling (pretty sure truck was in an accident package stayed put for 3 days moved 15 miles sat another day an then continued... they also had to replace the unreadable label) anyway... box is definitely robust an maybe they fixed the latch ING issue everyone is complaining about on here. Mine latches beautifully with 1 finger! The only real issue I've got is in the tumbles of shipping the removable tray came loose inside an multiple socket pins were bent an significant scratching to the inside of the box occurred! If they could secure the tray for shipping that would help! That an my external magnet covers are not crome as shown they are the same color as the cover unfortunately. But for the most part solid box! Little on the expensive side but I can see MOST of the quality in it's price.... could stand a little bit of "customer adjustability" to help suit individual preferences.... I will be doing a few internal mod's to make it work better for me in the heavy tow industry on my wrecker! Overall I am pleased with the box & hopefully it will last me many years!

Over all a good box, built well. My only two complaints, takes awhile to figure out what sockets go where bcs they are such a snug fit, also can’t use heavy duty sockets only basic standard sockets. Also the pegs for the wrenches from like 15/16 down can hold up to three wrenches unless u use the ratcheting wrenches then it’s 2 wrenches per peg. The last complaint is 1 of the latches wasn’t shaped properly to lock, with 5 minutes of work I fixed the latch. The tool box has sooo much room and I really like it.

We had to adjust the locking mechanism, for the price tag, I would think it would come ready to go.
