I bought this over other similar torque wrenches because it is much easier to set the correct torque. It has decimal increments of 0.1Nm which click into place, so this is definitely a big selling point given the price. Other torque wrenches in this price range often require 'subjective' reading to set the torque, while this one is very 'objective'. It has a good case and the bits included are all specifically relevant for bikes, so you probably won't need to buy more. The range 2-20Nm is also suitable for most bike parts, I find higher torque things can be done without a torque wrench (e.g. cassette and disc lockrings), while a torque wrench should be used for smaller parts which could break much more easily (i.e. anything carbon).

Love the quality n accurate too. Need some technical skill during light torque light load. Know ur strength. But anyway this torque wrench has good recoil "feels". 2 thumb up for the price.

As I was finishing a quick adjustment on a seatpost, and I was putting this torque wrench back into its case, it just hit me that I take this tool for granted. IMO, the best way to rate a tool of this sort, is on its reliability. I have nothing to compare this tool to, since I do not own another torque wrench with the same range, but after almost 3 years, a few bike (re)builds, many upgrades and a myriad of adjustments and tune ups, none of the bolts or nuts tightened with this torque wrench have failed. Not a single one! And I have done cassettes, derailleurs, disc brake rotors, bottom brackets, cranks, pinch bolts, seat posts, handlebars, stems, shifters, you name it; and, all of that has remained in excellent shape even after hard use. Yes, you rate a tool like this based on outcomes. When I was shopping for a torque wrench and came across this one, the price was what made it attractive. However, since it was the first time I even saw the brand of this tool, I was not sure if I wanted to give it a chance.Well, I am glad I did! This tool really punches above its weight for the price and I would say that for the amateur bike mechanic, it is second to none. I might even say that it is fit for a professional mechanic, but I will defer to those professionals out there using this tool to provide their opinion.Just make sure that you set the torque wrench back to is lowest torque setting after each use and you will not be disappointed.

I purchased this wrench because I wanted a larger range of torque that my current torque wrench did not have. This one goes up to 20nm which would cover most of the fasteners on my bike except for some of the heavier duty ones.I have owned this for a few months now and I can say it works well. It is a nice set up that provides everything you need for bike maintenance. I do have a few complaints but they could be just from my perspective and not really something that I have seen other users talk about too much.First off the bits seem quite sharp. Often times after using them I cannot remove the bit from the bolt head because it is lodged in there. I feel like the corners of the hex are digging into the bolt head and causing it to stick/wedge into the bolt head. This is easily solved but flipping the switch and reversing the direction by going counter clockwise. The thing is, I don't have any of these issues with the hex bits I have in my current tool box, so I feel this is a bit of a flaw that can damage your bolts over time. So be aware of this, you may see some gouging on the bolt heads. The other thing I find is the ease of setting the torque compared to my existing torque wrench to be a bit more of a hassle. It has the locking collar which is great but it is one extra step. It is also slippery to set the torque with the non knurled shaft of the wrench, it is easier if you have a socket/hex bit installed which can act as a brace for when you rotate the handle. I often find I myself still using my old torque wrench for values under 8NM. It is way quicker to set and less cumbersome to use as it can get into tighter spaces than the Pro Bike tool. Those are my two major complaints but overall the wrench is decent. It is hard to read the numbers, I have the silver one. Perhaps the black would be easier? If I were to only have one wrench for this range I would definitely choose this even though it is not as convenient to use. I only feel this way because I have something to compare it to. If this is your first and only torque wrench for this range and size, you won't know the difference and you will probably love it.

As a retired heavy equipment mechanic I’ve been using torque wrenches my whole life. I own numerous very expensive torque wrenches all of which are much to big for working on bicycles. My new bike has many components that are made of carbon fibre therefore I required a small torque wrench. I had been looking a various makes for a while. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but I wanted something that was accurate and reliable, when I came across the Pro Bike Tool 1/4 inch drive torque wrench it covered all the torque settings that I required, came with most of the attachments that I required and it had excellent reviews all for a reasonable price so I went ahead and purchased it. It arrived faster than I had expected. For this price point this is a very good tool, it comes with the calibration certificate, it’s very well made and very easy to use just make sure to follow the manufacturers instructions. Like all torque wrenches if it is used properly and looked after I am sure it will last me a long time Just remember this is a precision tool that’s made for one purpose to tighten fasteners to a specific torque. Do not use it to loosen fasteners, keep it clean and always return it to its lowest setting before storing it and it will always be available to do its intended job. Thank you for an excellent tool.

This is a fantastic tool. The quality is right up there with any of its competitors. Every bike enthusiast who works on their own bikes should have a torque wrench, and this one will not disappoint. With a range of 2-20nm, you are going to be able to work with any torque setting on any type of bicycle / frame. This tool comes in a great case that keeps everything nicely organized with secure spots for the T10/25/30 heads, and hex heads in 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10mm. An extension is also included for added versatility. One of the best things about the tool though is not the tool itself, but the outstanding customer service and communication from Pro Bike Tool.Prior to buying this torque wrench, I considered myself to be a bit of a bike tool snob- and was only purchasing Park Tool brand tools. This tool offered significantly better value for money, included a broader range of torque settings and included more bits- so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad that I did.I'll be a repeat customer with pro bike tool for sure.
