I build a lot of cages, and thought these would be a good addition to my tool portfolio. Upon inspection they are well made for their place of origin but cannot be confused with German, Swiss or other higher quality tool manufacturing. The only but very big downside, is finding compatible rings. It seems they are not readily available. I have not even been able to source ANY to even try this out. I strongly suggest finding rings first before investing in this tool.

They are too small for 9ga chain link fencing. It goes around but the hog rings pull off to easily

If you’ve ever had to use single hog rings they are a pain in the butt. This tool helps to eliminate that By having a sleeve of hog rings at the ready. Just a simple point-and-shoot and she’s secure. I totally recommend these to anybody that needs to put in more than just one hog ring!
