Was looking for a similar treat for cat compared the prices between this one and the cat one same ingredients. The pieces are bigger you need to break it down for the cat and it fumbles. My cat still likes it so it’s fine. Compare the prices for yourself it might have changed.

This bag of chicken has turned RANCID!! Seller won't accept returns!!!Buyers Be AWARE!!!I received this bag of freeze-dried chicken on January 24 - 2 weeks ago today. I opened the big bag and portioned out chicken into 4 small sandwich bags and threw them into the cat treat box(air-sealed tupperware container). The big bag has been in the cupboard, ziplocked closed for 2 weeks.I noticed 5 days ago that one of my cats was experiencing some messy stools that could only be described as wet and sloppy and strong in odor. I also started to notice the freeze dried chicken has a raunchy oily smell to it.I looked through the big Pure Bites bag, and found a bunch of the chicken is turning orange. It's deteriorating into a messy, mushy, greasy wax. It smells horrible and it's so greasy, you get some on your hands and the rancid stink takes over the entire room.Each small bag of chicken has started turning rancid now, each of the small bags have some chicken that's in different stages of rancidity. I've taken pictures to warn others.I came on Amazon to return it and hopefully get this lot recalled or something? But, there are no returns. I spent over $100 on a big bag of rancid chicken and there is no option to get my money bag.***BUYERS BEWARE*****

He loves this but hates it when I give him boiled chicken! He refuses to eat his food unless I sprinkle some of this on his dry food! It’s a bit pricy but he’s so spoiled, he won’t eat unless he has this. Spoiled him too much and now I’m literally paying the price for it haha

We buy the "dog" bag because it's bigger and the pieces are bigger, therefore turn to dust less easy. We buy these often and the cats love them. Love that they're pure chicken for our overweight cat so he doesn't get any extra fillers etc that he doesn't need.

I buy this for our cats that have various medical issues and the chicken bites are high in protein .I add it to our cats food and they like the taste. Sadly the prices keeps going up .

My recently diagnosed diabetic dog went crazy for these! Seems to likes them better than his old treats and I'm thankful because there are so few options for diabetic dog treats. He was difficult to get the insulin shots in twice a day, but when we started using these to help distract him and make a positive association it made a huge difference!

I have been purchasing this product for my cats since it came on the market (at least a decade ago). Some of the negative comments are not deserved. This is my 5 cents:- never buy the small bag or the cat variety (also small bag) b/c it contains junk quality/crumbs from the end of the packing/production line. Buy the big bags. I usually get 175 gr, sometimes 330. Consider how often you will use it b/c the more you open the bag the more you oxidize the content and spoil the product. It is raw after all. The bigger bags contain beautiful big pieces of chicken breast you just crumble them for a cat.- it does happen the product may arrives spoiled (wettish appearance and weird smell) as sharp pieces can perforate the bag in transport and thus oxidize for an undisclosed time.- yes, as you crumble the pieces you may find a small bone - well, it is a meat product, right? made in mass production, right? Can't possibly remove all the small bones.- it is ridiculously annoying Amazon does not offer self-managed return on pet food and one has to contact customer service and argue for a return/exchange.- I give 5 stars for quality, 4 start for often too high price, 1 star for amazon return policy on pet food.

These PureBites treats are probably the best thing you can buy for your dog in terms of treats. My dog absolutely LOVES every PureBites product I have bought for him (we have now tried them all!). He has been enrolled in obedience training since he was 9 weeks old and I have been using these treats since he was about 4 months old; we are never going back to generic dog treats! Here are my top pros for this product:1. One Ingredient! You literally cannot do better than this, especially if your dog has any kind of food intolerance or allergies.2. The Chicken Breast treats are very low-odor but high-taste (according to dog)!3. They are excellent for obedience and agility training because they are easy to handle, being freeze-dried, and are also low in calories. Treat away!4. They have never caused my dog stomach upset or diarrhea, while other more generic treats have.5. They are sourced in the USA6. High protein content, low to zero carbs and no added sugarOverall, this brand is my absolute favorite to feed my dog. He is now getting into advanced obedience training and good treats are an absolute necessity for positive reinforcement. I would recommend these to anyone who loves their dog.
