The Emerge plus was created with the engineer, auto-mechanic, Carpenter, and electrician in mind; the top-insert reader has been strategically placed in the upper portion of the lens, with upgrades from the standard Emerge of rubber temple trim and a rubber nose piece to prevent slippage.

I just used these for the first time today. I worked on the garage shelves I built for 3 hours and I honestly didn't even remember I had them on. SOOOOOO much easier than safety glasses overtop prescription and I could see everything perfectly. Fantastic and I will be buying another pair just to have!!! haven't used them with a mask yet but I have anti fog wipes that work well if these were to fog up.

Some glasses diopter varies over the lens, these thou are consistent overall and are quite comfortable, the side protectors are a little distracting and that is the only point i would suggest needs improvement.

Very comfy glasses, lightweight, good surround protection. They are a wee bit strong for me. My eyes are just on the line, to need glasses or not. I have 2 sets of prescriptions. 1 for driving, 1 for reading. Both 1.25+ if I recall. These safeties are 1.5 strength. Great for when I have my head in a small space, like leaning over brakes to see the mounting bolts in behind, or up close tiny screws etc. These have the entire 100% surface are 1.5 strength fyi. When I stand up to walk tho, everything is extremely fuzzy. So I have to flip them up or down to see to walk. So I think I may need bifocals ! Lol. Otherwise great glasses for close up work ! A+

The pieces that slip over the part of the glasses that go over the ear do not wear well. I have used the glasses for a few months and that material is breaking down/cracking. The nose silicone pieces turn slightly yellow as well. Otherwise, these are decent glasses for the price.

It took me quite a few tries to find something decent for a full lens magnified set of safety glasses, most just have little bifocal areas (some so small and in such bad places that they are useless). These are decent quality lenses and the frames are pretty strong. They feel like they will last for a good while. Safety first and for those of us that need the help to see what we are working on these are worth it!

This safety reading glasses has a unique area of where the bifocal lens are placed. They're placed on the upper half of the lens. This is perfect for such applications as installing a light fixture or repairing drywall in the ceiling. I didn't think this bifocal design would come in handy. The other good part about these glasses is that they have a snug fit
