Used this on a commercial vehicle, found the dye leaked out on the cap and threads, creating a mess. compared to the syringe I'd used for years. Did the job, Had the vacuum pump on the high pressure side while putting into low side

About on par with what others have mentioned. Maybe it’s a hit and miss item. I had to use 2 sets of channel lock pliers to get the unit open, and once I got the cap off it was evident that either the threads weren’t tapped nicely or the cap was cross threaded on. I suggest just removing the line from the cylinder and pouring the oil in from there. It’ll be the same end result just might need a funnel to avoid wasting any oil.

Seems like it would work, but I can't get the part open to fill it. The cap is extremely tight.
