Ram is tested snd proven gear... Can't go wrong.Shipping was ok..not fast or slow.. price was a it high but what do you do.

I used this to replace the plastic socket arm on a cheap $25 mount I bought on Amazon. I used the old ball mounts from it, as the new Ram ones didn't come yet, and even with the plastic balls it held tight like a champ, I even put considerable force on it to see it it would slip and no way!! There is no comparison to the old one. I have a 3 pound Raymarine Element 7 and it holds it no problem, I can't wait to get the Ram ball mounts on it, they have thinner necks so it will give me more range of motion.

RAM mounts are a great product. You tell right off the bat that they are durable and will stand the test of time, which is especially nice when your out on the water bouncing around. The idea of the ball mount is genius in the sense that it makes taking your equipment off and putting it back on a very simple task. I would highly recommend the RAM mounts for any application in which they would work.

Como todo lo fabricado por RAM, muy bien resuelto y de primera calidad. Junto con dos soportes de bola de 1,5" lo uso para sujetar una carcasa estanca para un iPad 2. El cojunto es pesado, pero las bolas aguantan en su sitio sin aflojarse y soporta perfectamente los golpes y vibraciones propias de la navegación
